The AeroMod p/n ACI-3048-01-1 Ski Shackles are designed to work together with Harbour Air Heavy Duty Wing Struts p/n D3081 (iaw Canadian STC SA08-47, FAA STC STC SA02711NY) and permit the continued operation of the DHC-3 Otter on DeHavilland C3-US-100 wheel skis.
When Harbour Air heavy-duty lift struts are installed on the aircraft, the original DeHavilland aft ski shackles will no longer fit on the aircraft's lower strut mount and the aircraft may no longer be operated on skis. Bartel Mechanical and Aerospace Ski Shackles are wider than the original DeHavilland mount and permit installation of the DeHavilland wheel skis.

Each shackle kit includes the applicable STC paperwork, two p/n ACI-3048-01-1 ski shackles, longer strut attach bolts, as well as additional hardware - everything needed to continue operating your wheel skis when using the Harbour Air Heavy Duty wing struts.
